Kara Britt has been in education promoting creativity through music,
art, and drama for over 40 years. She has taught her way across the
country teaching in California, Colorado, Arkansas, and North
Carolina. Mrs. Britt received her Bachelors of Music Education at
California State University Long Beach and her Certified State
Teaching Credential from California State University Fullerton.
Her
passion for writing children’s books began before she could even read,
fostering a lifetime of creating stories, songs and imaginary spaces
for her, her children and her students. Mrs. Britt enjoys life in
North Carolina with her husband and their two Floofy Goldens!
Together, they have 4 amazing grown children.
When she is not
reading or writing; she can be found organizing, decorating, walking,
gardening, exploring thrift stores or enjoying a soft serve ice cream!
Mr.Gardner is the fourth of five sons born to a blue collar family in
Southern California. He found that being creative came naturally to
him and enjoyed creating things. His family never quite understood how
being creative, or art in general, was useful and didn’t encourage it.
However, others did encourage him and he was given many opportunities
to use his talent and those opportunities led to a successful and
satisfying career as a Graphic Artist, Illustrator, and Creative
Director.
Mr Gardner loves his work. To him it doesn’t feel like
work. He is grateful for being able to make a living at something he
has enjoyed so much. His most recent creative endeavor has been
teaming up with Mrs. Britt to create the Christina Book Series.
